The Gower ministry area will be joining in Thy Kingdom come.
This is a global ecumenical prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus.
There are two resources available for you to participate in below.
These can be collected at a local church in the Gower area or downloaded for free online.
"Thy Kingdom Come" is an annual global prayer event from Ascension Day to Pentecost Sunday, recalling Jesus' promise of Holy Spirit empowerment for witnessing (Acts 1:8). Like the early disciples, we dedicate these days to fervent prayer, anticipating the Spirit's renewal. We're invited to pray for five individuals daily, seeking their encounter with God's transforming love, facilitated by diverse prayer methods in this year's Prayer Journal, aiming for spiritual refreshment and deeper connection with God.
"Thy Kingdom Come" is a global movement of prayer across 172 countries, centered on "Come Holy Spirit." Led by Bishop Anthony Poggo, it unites Christians to pray for global challenges and five individuals each. The initiative emphasises unity in spreading Christ's love despite doctrinal differences.
