An art show honouring local artist Liliane Davies, offering a gentle winter space to pause, reflect, and the quiet act of surrender through her poetry and artwork.

Liliane Davies is an artist shaped by lifelong Christian faith and a deep love of the natural world.
After training as a teacher, she developed a rich creative practice spanning stained‑glass‑style work, Welsh narrative scenes, spiritual pieces, poetry and writing.
Her early exhibitions in the 1980s featured bold, oversized flower studies that revealed her instinctive use of colour—something that continues to define her work today.
Now drawing much of her inspiration from the landscape and community of Gower, Liliane loves working outdoors, capturing shifting light and shadow. She has long enjoyed encouraging creativity in all ages through Sunday School and community settings.
She reflects: “I’m motivated by the challenge of capturing light itself. In art, as in life, dark moments are often followed by a new dawn. My faith has been a constant source of strength—for me, Jesus Christ is the Light of the world.”
