Before you decide to join Wild Church, it's helpful to understand what to expect,
where the meeting point is, who your guide will be, and other details.
Below is the information.
Saturday 19th October
The session starts at 10:00am , but please arrive
by 9:45pm at the Cwm Ivy car park (SA3 1DJ).
Car parking charge: Honesty Box
This will be our meeting spot for warm welcomes and introductions.
Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The walk will take around 1hr.
There will be a mixture of both forest, beach and concrete paths.
The map above shows our route and the various points we will pause for a small reflection.
Please take into account that most of the paths are moderate but can often be challenging due to being muddy or rugged, so wear suitable clothing and bring water to stay hydrated.
Please click the button at the bottom of the page to book your spot so we can prepare your resources in advance. If you're unable to attend, kindly email chloegowerwellbeing@gmail.com. If you can't reach us, don't worry—it's better for us to be over-prepared than under-prepared.
At the bottom of the page we have Frequently asked questions for you to browse at your own leisure. However, if you cannot find the answer you are looking for then please click the button at the bottom of the page to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have—we’re here to assist you and ensure you have all the information you need!
Join us for this month's Wild Church, where we’ll reflect on the journey of life—its highs and lows—while walking the varied paths of Cwm Ivy. As we explore each unique trail, we’ll notice how the changing terrain mirrors our own life experiences. Guided by Psalm 23, which reminds us that God walks with us through both the green pastures and the darkest valleys, we’ll reflect on His presence in every season of our lives. Along the way, you’ll collect symbolic items using a printed guide, deepening our reflections. At the end of the walk, we’ll come together to create a mural, expressing our thoughts and prayers to God through creativity. [No previous experience needed and please bring a bag to gather items]

In September, we embraced our faith in nature at Ilston woods exploring the River and immersing ourselves in collaging.
Watch the video to see the best moments of our time there!
Please reach us at chloegowerwellbeing@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Absolutely! Wild Church is suitable for all ages, and many of our activities are designed to be playful and childlike. While some activities might not suit very young children, they can still enjoy the walk, being with others, and simply playing—which is encouraged and welcomed! Please note, all children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The choice is yours! I recommend researching the area we'll visit to see if your dog can handle the walk and it's length. We usually check ahead of time whether dogs are suitable for the walk or allowed on the paths, and we mention in our advertisement if they can or cannot join.
If the weather becomes unsafe, we'll message everyone booked for Wild Church in the morning with an update and decision to postpone. However, if it's just rain, we're still going ahead! The choice is yours. We recommend wearing appropriate attire like waterproofs and walking boots. Wild Church is a rugged, nature-based experience, and a little rain won't stop us, though we understand it's up to your preference.
