Join us for an inspiring discussion linked to our latest art show and community art installation
NEW BEGINNINGS

This special event invites you to meet the artists behind the work, of our latest art show 'New Beginnings'
which have all reflected on the themes of renewal and belonging.
There are artists from a wide range of disciplines including: driftwood and sculptural artists, ceramicists, graphic designers, illustrators, fine art painters, photographers and poets.

This night will allow you to connect with like minded people in a relaxed and welcoming space whilst you enjoy refreshments and have the opportunity to reflect on inspiring pieces of artwork.

Normally this evening invites everyone to get creative together; while there’ll still be a small space for that, this time offers a special chance to immerse yourself in a live painting experience by artist Cas.

Cas is a multidisciplinary artist and educator based in South Wales, working mainly in painting and drawing. Her work explores identity, place and storytelling through expressive mark-making and a strong use of colour. She’s interested in the balance between intuition and control, often letting the process and materials lead the way rather than planning everything in advance. Her work is influenced by ideas of heritage, spirituality and her Christian faith, and she often works in an abstract way to create mood and atmosphere rather than fixed narratives. Alongside her own practice, Cas is passionate about teaching and helping people see art as a meaningful form of communication. Her approach encourages experimentation, confidence and curiosity, supporting students to take creative risks and develop independence.
