Simple wellbeing practices
Creative activities
Short bible reflections
You'll be gently guided, with time to create and space to reflect with no pressure and no expectations.
Open to everyone - whether you have a faith or not,
and whether your confident with art or just starting out.

In this workshop, participants will create landscape collages using a layered, portrait‑style format, rather than a traditional wide landscape view. We will work slowly and intuitively, building images through layers of paper, colour, and texture, allowing each piece to grow with care and intention.
Inspired by the verses “The heavens declare the glory of God” (Psalm 19:1) and “God saw all that he had made, and it was very good” (Genesis 1:31), this workshop invites reflection on beauty, gratitude, and our personal response to creation.
Collage supports wellbeing by encouraging focus, presence, and gentle enjoyment. The tactile process of selecting, tearing, and layering materials helps calm the mind, reduce stress, and promote a sense of achievement. With so much to engage the senses, collage naturally draws attention into the moment, creating space to slow down and simply enjoy the act of making.
Saturday 9th May
1:00 pm - 3:00pm

In this simple watercolour workshop, participants are invited to reflect on the values that shape their home and daily life.
Using a basic house outline, we will transfer the image using a crayon‑back tracing technique before adding soft layers of watercolour.
Words, values, and optional collage elements can then be added to make the piece personal and meaningful.
Inspired by the verse “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15), this workshop offers space for gentle reflection and creativity.
Watercolour painting supports wellbeing by encouraging calm, focus, and presence. The slow movement of brush and water helps the nervous system settle, reduces stress, and allows participants to enjoy the process without pressure, creating a peaceful and reflective creative experience.
Friday 26th June
6:00pm - 8:00pm

In this workshop, participants will create a hanging fish mobile inspired by Jesus’ call to “Follow me” (Matthew 4:19). Through gentle, creative making, we will reflect on what it means to listen, respond, and follow.
Using white crayons, participants will create patterns freely or with simple stencils before painting over them with watercolours, allowing the designs to be revealed. Fish shapes will then be traced, cut out, and assembled onto twine, before being hung from a piece of driftwood to create a finished mobile.
The slow, repetitive nature of drawing, painting, and assembling supports wellbeing by encouraging calm focus and mindful attention. Working with watercolour and simple construction helps reduce stress, supports creativity without pressure, and allows participants to feel present in the moment while creating something meaningful to take home.
Friday 17th July
6:00pm - 8:00pm

In this workshop, participants will explore styrofoam printing as a simple and expressive way to reflect on the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23). Through the imagery of fruit, we will consider which qualities we feel drawn to, which we notice growing in our lives, and which we may wish to nurture more deeply.
Using Styrofoam sheets, participants will draw fruit shapes and patterns, carving gently into the surface to create a printing plate. These plates will then be inked and printed repeatedly to form colourful fruit patterns. The repeated printing process encourages experimentation, play, and reflection, allowing each design to develop naturally over time.
Printmaking supports wellbeing by offering a grounding, hands‑on process that rewards patience and curiosity. The rhythmic actions of inking, pressing, and lifting prints help calm the mind, build focus, and provide a satisfying sense of achievement. This workshop creates space to slow down, reflect, and enjoy the process of creating while exploring spiritual growth in a gentle and accessible way.
